I made it to the races Saturday to give Jason a hand and see his new gullwing. I thought it looked great for the 1'st one out of the mold even if he decided against the graphics that I drew for him. I was driving home from his house the other night and I flashed back to a time in our lives when he would take me to the river and we would drool over 19' go fasts. We used to dream of being in the jet boat business. As we got older and our lives became more challenging I lost the drive. Jason never really did. Building jet boats has always been his dream. I can't even begin to tell you how proud of him that I am. He has a lot of great ideas and input from people that he surrounds himself with. Some may look and think its just another splash but I can assure you it is going to be much more than that. He is determined to make his boats hands down the best on the market. He's the tye of guy that is always looking for ways to make things better, ie; lamination quality, gelcoat quality, overall customer satisfaction. I'm stoked that I get to sit on the sidelines and be the thorn in his side always pointing out things that could be imroved. I'm sure he would love to hear what people thought and I'm sure pictures will be posted soon if they are not yet!

Thanks Bro, it was a great event and I'm stoked we made in time. Just in time......... Lol.. Although I must say, when I knew there was no time for the rub rail to be installed, I though the weekend was doomed. The white 100 mph tape didn't look half bad and I think I see one being capped in the future. Thanks to all who took a look and there will be some pics posted up tonight.

Tim and I will never forget the first time we saw a CP gullwing at Bluewater Lagoon in Parker and haven't really looked back since. Never thought we would actually get the opportunity to be a manufacturer of them...

Gotta say, Bill Scotten was a very stand up guy and even went as far as promoting the boat several times. I've known Bill a long time and kinda felt guilty when we got the mold. Some would have immediatley thrown the "new" boat under the bus, but he's not that guy and I have alot of respect for him...

One last thing, that event was great for the fans but also the sport. I hope there will be more local events to put some fire back in this sport. Thanks to all who worked so hard to pull this thing off. My family's thoughts and prayers go out to Frank and his family. He's one hell of a guy and has often taken time out of his program to talk with me at the races even though he didn't know me from Adam.. Get well bud... Jason

It was a pleasure meeting you. The boat came out clean! Hopefully we'll be able to get together at the river. Good luck with the new boats, you picket the perfect event to present them at.

Beautiful boat Jason. Great work. Did it go home with a new owner? figured there would be a few rders for boats after seeing these on display and others run. It gets the urge to race going.
