    Bad.

Terminal given the low cost of an aluminum impeller.

Others will have to make a call on the suction housing, but IMO it's terminal too.
Someone MIGHT have a used one gathering dust, and offer you a deal.

Now you see the only part you MUST really sweat paying attention to is your thrust bearing.
    Is the engine alright?
Pull it, flip it over, and look at the main bearings, especially the thrust bearing if you have not already.
Letting the pump shaft push on the back of the crank destroys bearings first, cranks and blocks next.

Engine is fine, this actually turned effortlessly. The pump housing looks OK, the metal that is worn is the wear ring, I believe. It has a "gasket" between the metal and the pump housing.

Your impeller and shaft moved a good bit forward, I'd pull the pan and see what the thrust bearing looks like. The thrust bearing could be toasted and you just not know it, till it's too late. The suction is still likely usable for low HP applications, if your putting some bigg HP I'd consider replacing it as well.

Chaz The Impeller is "done" The suction is likely OK with some work as Chuck said there could be "thrust issues to check for on your engine , call and I'll explain how to check that , Tom

Wow, I haven't seen you post in a long time. If you need a different housing/shaft/aluminum impellor/all of it let me know I have one for you, 12JC-A, cheap for you. The impellor is useable but not super nice either. 619-787-7987

You can check your thrust bearing without pulling the pan. Put a big screw driver-pry bar behind the harmonic balancer and one behind the flywheel. Move the crankshaft back and forth to check the end play. It should be about .010-.012". If it is excessive, then pull the pan to look.

Yeah, moved up to snow country. I will pull the engine to get the old pump out, and check the crankshaft "play" Thanks for the parts offer Rod. I'll let you know if I need anything.
