Default 19' CP with pop-off video - Aha

This is from last weekend @ Aha. It's our 19' CP making some test passes with the new pop-off & motor combo. The valve worked perfect and the boat seemed to respond well to the changes. We've got a few more adjustments, but it's getting close.

    I can't wait for summer.

Thanks again Ma & Pa Burn, WG, GS Marine & Mike D.

Can I ask how much horsepower your motor is making? Sure would like mine to run like that (or even close).

Badass! Motor sounds wicked. What RPM'S was the motor turning?

    Thanks guys,
It's around 1000hp on the motor, while spinning an A impeller 6500. On the bottle it hits right at 7000rpm. We're using the Mersch valve with the electronic switch(GS version). Couldn't be happier with the way the valve makes the boat re-enter the water.

I'm still learing to drive the boat and will improve the launch with more practice.

Looks & sounds awesome. I wish I had known you were here & I would have come by. Usually I can hear guys running from my place at Villa Shores, but I didn't hear anything on Sat.

    boat looks great!!

Not to hijack, ok I am. How do you reset the pop off? Do you have to shut down the motor? Can it be done at idle? How bout on plane? Do ya just hit the switch?

    Sorry for the highjack
