I recently picked up a '78 Nordic Bubbledeck 18ft. A 496 BBC is going in there. Split-bowl Berk pump with droop, and shoe/ride plate. I have seen a few old posts about the hull being solid with the ability to handle some chop. I guess the downside of this hull is the porpoising. Have any owners out there have a legit solution for the porpoising issue. I read one post stating to use a 4 degree wedge. Is this true?? Thank you in advance for the help!!
