    Default Insurance

    I need some help.
Last summer I purchased a 16' Tahiti Jet Boat with an Olds 455.
I have been declined insurance by both Geico and Progressive because this boat has an exposed engine.
Where can I find an insurance company?

I have state Farm but my boat does not have an open engine. Well at least it's not supposed to. When I got it insured, they didn't seem to know jack about boats. I don't even recall them asking that question. Just if it was inboard or outboard. They even let me decide how much it was worth.

A lot of it also depends on where you live and if they can write insurance in your state (don't know where you're located).
Wozencraft and Performance Insurance Specialist write in California, Arizona, and I believe in Nevada (maybe more, you'd have to find out from them).
    They have the best rates.
The other option is Foremost Insurance. I believe they write in most states but aren't as involved and are a bit higher. Unfortunately, that's our only option in Utah.
