I got the old ford motor taken out this weekend. I have a mount kit on order from jet boat performance to get my LSX in there.

Are you staying EFI or going blow through carb? If EFI, what ECU are you installing?

    Default slowly but surely

Update. My origional plan to use a 6.0 is dead. The motor was full of dirt so im just going to freshen it up and put it back in my jeep. Now im for some crazy reason shooting for 1700hp. I ordered a lsx tall block that will be a 427 when done. Ultra billet crank, carrillo rods cp pistons, brodix ls7 heads, custom cam and morel lifters and all the goodies inbetween.

My engine is getting close to being done. All I have to show for it is my intake that is waiting to get put on it. Here is a pic. It is a holley hiram intake manifold with a shearer intercooler on top and a fuel system. I am having a custom sheet metal plenum made for the top.

1700 hp is going to be a handfull, keeping the pump loaded is going to take some bottom work and a pump guru.

I doubt ill ever use the 1700 hp. It isnt going to be a race boat just a river play boat. I am not sure how much is going to be too much and this is my first boat.

Dang it you are going to beat me to finishing off a Wilder project. I had mine this far and took it back apart to upgrade the electrical system to 16 volts and a few other things.

Congrats man. Not trying to distract from your project.
