    Default Plumbing problems

Ok got the Eliminator wet today , but not without some issues.

#1. Lots o water coming out the weep holes at idle (installed a new ball /spring prior )
#2. it takes a while to get the water to come out the dump unless you rev it to 2K then its fine for awhile and then stops
#3.so far no water in oil.

This has a pressure reliefe valve so i open the gate valve full , and i get the rpm's up to see if its working or not and its just a drizzle. i think it starts to dump at 25 psi which i thought was a little high? Or maybe i am

Boat ran strong , really responsive and smooth.. Just need to get the plumbing issues worked out...

    Any idea's

Make sure you have the NARROW end of spring against the ball

    X2!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just give the knob on the gate valve a couple turns, and I get a perfect steam out of my headers. And definitely check how you have the spring and ball in the Bassett valve cause it doesn't work when they're put in backwards. You'll get a constant stream out of the weep holes if they're wrong.

I always like to put a small ball valve in the line that feeds your Bassett Tee. You do not need alot of water to the tee. You just want steam , or a fine mist out of your headers at cruise speed. The ball valve gives you more control of the water when running on the trailer which is nice also. I also plumb a little differently than the factory set ups. I talk about this on my web site under tech talk... Jim www.performancejet.com

I have the Header control valve in my Carribean and will most likely add one to the Eliminator. Just to make it simpler

Waiting for: parts, powdercoater, a jet boat builder, seat builder, and a pedal maker guy. I played baseball with a bunch of 10 year olds the other day and not only got my asss handed to me but I got injured too. Other than those things, not much.
