    Default Rub rail

What's the best way to install new rub rail? Should I fill the old holes with resin or just caulk? Do I need to put anything on the new rivets? Thanks

I filled the old holes with silicone sealer, drilled new holes & attach rail with pop rivets. is that the best way ? I think having the hull capped would be the best way....

Yep. Filled the old holes with silicone and drilled new holes and put clear silicone on the screws before putting them in. Worked good but yes would rather have the boat capped. Maybe blow it apart and do that next year.
