    Default Remote battery lugs??

Hey guys- looking everywhere for somesort of lugs that I can mount under rear seat outside the engine compartment to jump start or charge boat if dead. The batteries are under hatch and hatch lid is electric. Last summer, I left the stereo cranked to long and almost didn't get the hatch up to jump. Checked and called West Marine and a few other places with no luck. Thanks.

    Default Service trucks

If all else fails try searching tow truck accessories. They have those bitchen plug in types to prevent accidental crosswiring. You would have to build your own jumper cables with the "male' end, but the "female" end, from your batteries, is capped and out of the way.......Would also be real simple to jump some one else....Ray

Heres a link to summit..... http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

You can use stainless bolt run thru the fiberglass or wood attach cables to the back side to the battery, and your can clamp your jumper cables or charger to the heads of the bolts under the seat. Just be sure to mark pos. and neg.

These should work for your needs. They are sold at most local auto parts stores.

I used the ones from Summit. Left side of box. Battery is underneath the box.

The ones from Summit look good but appear to short on stud side. I need to mount them thru 1/2 inch plywood with enough sticking out for cables and nuts.

It doesn't mount with the stud it mounts at the black plastic section where the big nut is. .........http://static.summitracing.com/globa...m-g1430_cp.jpg
