Default Olds 455 Packjet Oil Cooler

    Hey guys,

I bought a 1973 Glastron with a Olds 455 Berkley Packjet. It has a few issues... The oil cooler is busted, probably from frost. can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement, and what model I should get ?

Been reading that I should get 2 of these to restrict flow and further cool the oil. Is that what you've done ?

    Thanks !

I had one of those that burst in a freeze. The solder holding the bottom cover on just burst at the joint. I took mine to a radiator shop and they brazed it back together.

I don't know about doubling up the coolers. Oil heat is not really the enemy in and Olds. Oil control, particularly in the heads is an issue with the Olds in a boat.

    Good luck.
