Default What is my Eliminator Bubble worth?

    Howdy!

I found another boat that I would like to buy but obviously I would have to sell my present setup before doing so.

It is a 1978 Eliminator Bubble Deck with a factory stock Harman Marin BBF. As far as I can tell it is as factory as can be except for the updated interior. It has sat in my garage for the past 3 or so years collecting dust but started right up this past weekend. The previous owner also kept it in their garage and his uncle before that who was the original owner. When I test drove it about 4 or so years ago, it went 59.7 mph on the GPS with two full tanks of gas and 500 pounds of heffers in the front seats. Since I have owned it I have only taken it out twice with no full speed runs.

It will need the inside fender panels recovered and a new set of guages which I am willing to include. All else is in very good shape as the photo's will show.

SO... How much do you think I can post it up for?

Wow, that thing looks better now than when you bought it !
I see you still have not found a set of those Tall Chrome Moroso valve covers.

Very clean boat. Should sell for 4-5k range, maybe more to the "right buyer" IMO. If the market were better you could get 6-7k but there are lots of boat on the market...

That's what Im saying. There's soo many boats on the market right now...

If you're not too desperate to sell, I would just hang onto it, and enjoy the summer!

With boats selling like lead based paint, I'm gonna say you can expect about 3 to 4 thousand for it, no offense meant, there's just no market these days

Thank you for the replies everyone. It sounds like it may be best if I hang on to it for a bit longer.

Hey Squirtin, I actualy do have a set of the tall chrome Moroso valve covers that I found on Ebay a few years back. Unfortunately, they have been sitting in the same place in the garage as the Bassetts and the Victor intake all this time.

Looks like it is about time to get started.

Boost, if you cant get 5k for yours, then I couldn't even hope to get peanuts for mine.

    Good luck on your sale.
