    I think it depends on what type of heads/valves ,Aluminum cast iron heads,,,
    Slinging Lead on and off the water for over 40 YRS

    I used to use AV gas with iron heads and something near 11:1, but with aluminum heads you'd be Ok with slightly more. Personally, I'd limit it to 12.5 with aluminum heads.
