    WOW.....that's some hillbilly work right there. It's a gate valve and pressure reducing regulator. All that copper plumbing belongs on your house not in your boat.

    It looks like the water control to the headers. pretty crude one. Or it's the fire sprinkler system!!LOL So your @ss don't burn. Never seen one like that before!

    Now that you've posted the photo, you better keep the boat locked up the way weasels are stealing copper these days. That looks like enough to take a vacation on. Shall we say a plumber owned this boat at one time?

    Without knowing where the other ends go it's difficult to say what to replace it with. Headers or logs?

    that is a pretty serious regulator.. Whats it all connected too? Im sure there would be a lighter way or routing that but if it works i would make it a secondary project. If it aint broke dont fix it.
