    Default Another trim guage question

I am ready to hit "purchase" for the trim gauge set up from CP. (Place diverter Hyd.)
    Question,
does the switch kit #151-25125 for steering mount come with everything needed? Or do I also need the "diode kit" #25133?

They are closed today, so thought I would ask here.
    thanks.

Here is the switch kit page:

Good question Tommy. It sure looks like it's an option but then in the details it says switch and diode. The again, on the switch description page, it say "Related Items" and it shows the diode kit....but you already knew all that.

lot of help I was huh?

    Yep!!
Then, on the diode details it says "for switch kit 25125".

Fuk it, I ordered both! CP has always done me good, I'm sure I can return it if I don't need it.

Does anyone know the values of the diodes and how they are connected? I hate to think of buying a $29.00 kit for some diodes that can be bought at an electronics store for $5.00.

Don't know, but the steering wheel kit DID come with the diode.

CP actually called me to ask if I really wanted the "extra".

The trim button is in and worked from the word go, BTW!
I crimped, and heat shrunk, then wrapped all conn. in tape also!
Looks cool having the bottons on the steering wheel.

I'm doing a custom install and just wanted to make my own diode kit. I won't be using the kit CP has on their web site. Now I wonder, if a diode kit is really needed in plain old rocker type switches are used?
