    where can I buy one? I called REX and they are out. Anyone know who else might stock these?

    What exactly does this thing do? Noob here... I saw another place said they were no longer availible... discontinued? why?

    Okay. Question though. On the signal converter does it increase the frequency (time) of the sqaure wave with the RPM of the engine and that's what triggers the water solenoid box?
    Is that how most tach outputs work on other ignition systems besides the GM HEI? I didn't know that.... guess I need to put my oscilloscope on an HEI tach output to see what it looks like...

    So if you had some other ignition system, like a MSD 6A or something like that you would not need the converter? What's a typical ignition system that most people run on their BBC in their jet boats? Not HEI? HEI seems to be simple and would seem to me to be a good choice, but no rev limiter that I know of so that may be an issue for some who like to make their boat into a airplane at times....

    Sorry if I am thread jacking, just figured I'd ask this question too in this thread, since it seems relative enough....
