    Default Elsinore recap

gotta thank the best crew on the planet. Joe, Randy, Robert, and Randy #2..you guys killed it this weekend and we had zero drama in the 999 pit.

Turkeymelt was the man this weekend, taking out BP and Roznos I think??

Kjell got a taste of the squeeze and is not taking n20 introveniously (sp?) at home.

I finally got a handle on the 999 tuneup in qualifying and we ran a few passes in the 8.18-8.19 range. got to go 131.8 mph, without shooting any ducks, which I've never done before so that was way cool.

On Sunday we chased some gremlins and were about two tenths off the number but managed to make it to the final by cutting decent lights against Roadstrom, Buzzsaw, and BikeDeclark. In the final i red lit .02 and got smoked by Bandy

Buzzsaw-for a guy who hasn't been the behind the wheel of a jet boat in years you sure looked comfy in Harris' boat. Nice work this weekend. Oh yeah..Bike Bike Bike!

BikeDeclark- nice work in UBFJ. you hauled the meatloaf this weekend.

thanks to everyone that came by the pit. really do appreciate the support and i could hear every one of you on the shore during the final. lol

im tired. lets go to the river.

Thanks Mike ... not to bad for a rusty old driver I guess ... Greg made it easy though, his hot rod is simply rad & I am stoked that he even asked me to drive it.

I'll get the vid up ... go figure that after everyone had successful bike passes doing the Patridge Pedal that I found the only rock on the beach. I was so close and then smack ... endo over the bars. Ouch. Oh well, all in good fun, right?

    Josh doing it twice? Epic.

oh yeah Mike ... your lights.

    Once is luck.
    Twice is chance.
But three times in a row ... ok, yeah ... that's experience.

Great job on the lights, you took the "saw" out of Buzzsaw ... you owned me with that .004 light.

Damn, bikes sound too dangerous for you. We'd let you use our golf cart, but someone stole it for a joyride memorial weekend. Sorry

Mike, good job on both the boat and on the tree, your lights were killer and the boat is hauling ass. You are close to being where you've been wanting to be with the boat, thats awesome.

Busby, glad your not too beat up, that was ugly. Thanks for coming back to the track and picking up 000, we were stuck there and no way to get it home.

    Chris.

I swear to god that is the most accurate tree i've ever raced. i left on the same number in both lanes and it was money. the hardware change for the final burned me but he had me covered anyway. thanks again for bringing the taj majal and for the laughs and help.
