I wonder if a turkey baster would do the job?
this is how marine mechanics do it,
1 drain your milkshake
2 fill you motor with tranny fluid
3 remove your distributor
4 install an oil pump priming shaft
5 spin oil pump with drill motor( for a while, up to 5 min)
6 drain this
7 fill with cheap oil (or same you run, your choice)
8 repeat steps 5 and 6
9 fill with the oil you run
10 replace distributor
I thought this was a Baskin Robbins thread.....
Not sure that would be a good idea: diesel while a upper cly. lube not a good lube for bearings cam ect.,Just my .02 There is still load on bearings cam lobes and I would feel better with oil or atf. IMO edit: then you got to get diesel out, clean up a mess by making another????

no sure about diesel?????
you need to pull your distributor, and twist the pump, not turning the engine over. it is very easy. you can buy the pump turning extension at harbor freight.
you dont have to use tranny fluid if you perfer not to. just do the oil cycle more times.
Instead of all diesel use a few quarts of diesel with the rest being regular oil. Or, what I've used is Rislone, it did a great job getting rid of the creamy gunk. Run at idle for 5 minutes, don't rev the engine. As long as you've done a good drain and re-fill first I think its fine to run the engine rather than spin the oil pump. Then do the drain and re-fill with clean oil, run a short while, and do a final drain and re-fill.

I've used diesel plenty of times. even done it to Mercedes Benz engines.
It's diesel oil. Oil. it works fine.
The liberals are asking us to give Obama time. We agree and think 25 to life would be appropriate.
