    Default Fuel Tank Vents Slosh?

I have fuel vents that when the tanks are full I get gas all down the side of my boat from the vents! Does anyone have a quick fix for this? It is a PITA to clean the boat go to the lake and clean it again!

A friend of mine is testing a new way this weekend to see if his setup will work! WT

When I was in college I had a jet boat that would do this...especially when going around a bend while towing. A guy I knew at the time suggested getting a longer hose from the tank to the breather and wrap around the opposite direction of the vent, then back to the vent. That was the leaky fuel stays in the line but you still get the ventage

Put a loop in the hose that may stop it from sloshing out.

x2! i had to put a double loop in my taylor sj's vent hose to make it stop

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

coby, just go get some fresh vent hose, coil it up, hook it to the tank and vent and make sure the coils stand straight up

i have the same problem...fuel slosh from the vent when the tank is full, largly when braking on the trailer.

i wondered if one of these would work (1675-6 attwood fuel surge protector)

i suppose it is a ball that floats on gasoline to seal the line during the surge and falls back to vent the tank when the liquid receeds.

My friend is trying a fuel filter standing up in the vent line! I will let you know how it works! WT
