Default Got the Pump Back in the boat

Finally got the pump back in the boat. All is well. Shaft was slightly bent. Had it straightened. While I had it out I had the whole thing checked out. I already wanted to replace the main thrust bearing so I had it all freshened up. I opted to not replace the bowl bearing seals and let it flow like a dominator. What a bitch it was tightening all the nuts & bolts that are way down deep. I can’t wait for the silicon to dry! I hope its dry by noon tomorrow. Saturday is supposed to be 84°.

I need to install the ride plate, Droop & diverter and then the exhaust manifolds then if silicon is dry, Off to the lake. With a tube of the silly stuff for assurance!

That's on the list for next weekend Frank. If I don't have the carpet replaced this week then next week I'll do Pleasant. I can live with it for now. Weather is great today.
I really just want to do leak test in the lake. My association changed the locks on the gate to launch ramp at my community lake so I cant do it in the back yard Pissy ass boat haters

Ready for some leak testing & pump breaking in.

Its no big deal compared to your guys racers. I want to see Dan in a CP. That guy deserves a nice boat! Since I do most of my boating at Saguaro I ned a boat that can handle those wake barge boats waves. my kidneys get more of a workout on the lake than on my Banshees.

I definitely want to hook up with all you people from the north side. Heck Brian lives right down the street from me . I haven't met him yet.

Sure it is It's every mans pride and joy, because if it wasn't then you wouldn't bought. You will see him in one, he's picking it on Monday I guess thats why i have new been to saguaro, because of those Large over sized boat sinkers. I have a shallow hull so it would be easy to sink me. Brians never home he's probably has more miles on his flip-flop than i do on my truck

I had many pucker days at Saguaro. But I did most of my boating in the early Am. Now many of the wake barges get there early for the glass to make waves. But I still took the Kachina out in that crap.

I found my leaks. I sploodged the heck out of the transom. I didn't see the original leaks. Hopefully I got them all. I used a full tube. It would have sucked to have made the trip out to Pleasant. I just waited for the lanes to free up and kept putting her in the water. Find a new one patch it up. Move out of the way and do it again. I really need to get the new key to the lake behind my house.

Well I found all my leaks today. Man that was a b!tch. I gooped all kinds of silly putty on every nut & bolt to only find out it was not the cover or the nuts & bolts that secured the set back plate to the boat. It was the forward reverse cable hole in the boat & the steering tube that leaked. Had a few more incidents but they all were solved in minutes!

The lake was killer today and my face is red as heck. The beach was real nice and the lake was too. The frau scenery was nice too. Bikinis in March. Dam. Sorry no pics. I was catching up with friends. Thats what its all about. We are going to have a great Summer.

I did manage to blow a 1 1/2" hole in the exhaust hose. Man I can tear stuff up.

GPSed the Liberator at 76.7 on the way back in crappy water. Was fun running with Bubba & Keith! They pushed me to step it up. Man that was a fun ride to the docks! I'm leaning how to drive this hull. It handled Saguaro chop easily. Bubba that Hallett moves good. Looked scary from the back. Good driving.

Yes I do. It handles Saguaro chop great. Cool to see it with a blower. Thats the plan for next year. Greg said it was set up with a blower at one time. Cool to see the pics. Looks good. Did you ever GPS it back then? I'm still getting used to driving it.

Thanks for posting up picks Mike & Paula Cool to see the OG pics!
