    Unfortunately Lance had 3 DNF's this weekend. He is O.K. got thrown out of the boat in the last heat today.

    I was not there, but I received a phone call when Lance was thrown out, no one mentioned the boat sinking. I assume that it just spun out. Hope the boat didn't go down in the salt water.

    Thats a bummer he had that boat dialed at the puddingstone races a few months ago. hope he and the boat are okay.

    Lance's boat went down after he got pitched...Sea Tow got to it before the tip of the bow went under and had it on the ramp in short order. The R&D crew was tearing into it to get the good stuff dried uout as soon as it was on the trailer.

    The bad news....the lanyard was still attached when they got it out of the water...might have some bent stuff in there.

    so far so good took the manifold off last night and no damage to the pushrods we will have the pan off this morning to check the rods

    just for your reading info we just weighed HBs C/J 313 boat and it weighed

    1730 lbs with no fuel and no driver
