    Default impellor choice polllllliooo

really stuck between 2 different impellor choices for the twin turbo tx20. i'm not gonna get back into a hp pissing contest, the motor makes more than 1500hp by 7krpms let's just say that.the amt aa is to lil in this aggressor bowl. both the hh and new mag bronze aggressor are rated 2000hp+

in my mind , the aggressor aa mag bronze would match better with the 9vane aggressor bowl and really would bite hard outta the hole, basically outta the box without much detail work(can do clean up ourselves).

the hihelix is still kinda unknown and needs alil detail work from the get go.its twice the price as well.may have to send it back for cut down which ain't good when we've gotta race in 30days.

i'm sure the hh is a nice piece. i've ran amt impellors back to back with a aggressor a-cut in the gullwing(amt b, agg a, amt aa) i built and sold, and there's was no deny'n the aggressor was the better choice in the coves. i actually pulled the veins outta the frt of that aggressor impellor putting to much hp to it(alum and 1200+hp), the holeshot was phkn sick those 3 race passes i got to make with it

let's hear some constructive opinions cause i'm stuck on it, we've got the power now, we just need to plant it and pull the motor down so we can turn it up whichever is chosen will be ran in a upcoming race(30days away) against big inch blown alky boats in the 1000ft, and will be leaving from the rope on 15lbs of boost , then hitting the big boost at the start to turn whichever to 7500(can either turn boost up or down till we hit the rpm).

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

Hey impatient, do you have any pics of the bottom of your TX-20? I was thinking of putting a spoon on mine like i had on my old '20 Scorpion. Seems like both have very similar bottoms. I thought i heard you had a spoon on yours and was wondering how ya liked it. By the way i almost have my twin turbo 514 BBF done that will be going in the my TX-20. I have a aggressor 9 vane bowl with a AA w/inducer and love how it hooks up, just thought i'd throw that in there since thats sorta what this thread is about.

get ready to buy the biggest phucking impellor you can find its really hard to explain how hard these turbo motors hit ya, you'd just have to be in 1 to know what i'm talking bout. i ran a 500hp shot a couple passes last summer in my gullwing and that much nitrous was nothing compared to the hit of cold high boostbtw, its my uncle's boat, i'm just his lil mad scientist

i had pics of the bottom i thought at 1 time but can't find em. i think i sent em to warp back during the earlier days of this site.its got a full race drop keel, the keel was cut out , dropped and spooned. its the only boat i've ever driven that never really has a loading issue, it does well on all water conditions.pretty skeery the 1st ride in it, the hull flies with alot of bow attitude and feels like its about to blow over all the time to me, but it hasn't yet

My old motor was a 460 BBC with twin turbos, it ran pretty good at 13 lbs of boost, so i turned it up to 18 lbs boost and it pulled freak'n hard...for one pass. But i had the 9 vane bowl with AA and inducer and it hooked realy nice, my new 514 has alot better heads for ci, more cam and is getting alot better and bigger turbos!
