    Hey Sleek > question?
Is the ID of a #10 line the same ID as a 1/2" NPT?
Reason...(if) the #10 ID is bigger vs the remote filters 1/2" NPT (in/out) why not just go with the same 1/2" ID for the oil line? Gotta squeeeez it down past the 1/2" NPT anyhow.
I have a remote filter set up...just not ready to install it yet.

Hammer it's -10 AN fitting and hose 1/2 NPT adapter fitting. I bought a Canton remote filter kit, it included everything.

Be careful with those adapters. I've had several customers kill good engines because of them. If you take a good look inside of a lot of them, you can see how they can cut the oil flow almost in half. just my .02.

Droppy, I've ran -12 before with no issues (though way smaller motor than yours) and have some -12 full flow 90s that you're welcome to iffn you need them.

I just finished a remote filter on my mark 4. Went with the Rex MAR billet stuff. 3/4 holes and 12an lines. 12an lines will take away all doubt. I also went with the hp6 filter because of the 1.5 inch filter mount.

Good choice Dave (not just because I make em either). I prefer -12 because it insures good flow. Every hose of length increases wall tension which affects flow over it's length. Cost from -10 to -12 is minimal.

The fittings I use I also make. They have a radius to insure max flow through the fitting, not just a standard old 815 AN male to mail union. Sharp edges and flat surfaces sticking out reduce flow. Perhaps it's overkill. Personally I like overkill.

Here's a link to the billet stuff.

Block bypass adapters both Mk4 and Gen 5-6.

-12 lines, rex billet adapter with 3/4" npt and a System 1 remote filter head with -12 fittings. Baldwin filter.
