If you are referring to a FTN in a diverter, send it to Place. They are the one to make it fit and sell you the FTNs'

Tom, not trying to step on your toes!!!!!!! Figured it would be easiest to send it to Place. One stop, including inserts.

I'm probably not even going to go there(ftn), but I was curious if the stock nozzle had to be machined to accept one, or if there was another option. Any die hard ftn fans here or am I wasting my time

Whether you are talking a stock Berkeley nozzle or a stock Place Diverter nozzle, the answer is YES, it needs to be machined to accept the nozzle inserts.

Default FTN on a split bowl Berk

With all my experience working on jet boats, it really depends on the bowl vane count. Uh....oh yeah...and what weight oil you're running.

Kreg, you don't have a diverter? I would recomond getting a diverter with the FTN.

In parting out jet boats I've seen several stock nozzles with short pieces of pipe held in with set screws in the backs of the nozzles. They appeared to be FTN's of some old fashioned sort. I've sold them all and have never took any pics of them.
