    Thumbs up C&J Engineering spam

if your carb sucks like mine has for the last three years take it to John at C&J. I had the best weekend of boating ever at the CP regatta thanks to tweaking he did on my 3 circuit Dominator. No more bogging, no more misfires at part throttle, the thing just works killer now and I'm stoked on it. The boat drives like its got a 4150 on it.

this is total spam i know, but this guy is the man and I wanted to pass on the good vibe.

John is the king of carbs. I took my hot rodded carbs to him years ago. He gave me a pile of parts back and told me to make a pass and not touch them. I went four tenths quicker and over four miles an hour faster with his magic. His is the McClure of carbs. Expensive, but worth every penny.

If you're speaking about the other number ($$$), at this point ... I don't think it would matter, he's happy with the results. That makes it worth every penny.

    Question

    Question...
By chance is this John from C&J Engineering (carb guru) the same person that was very helpful over on the HB forums years back?

I don't think so ... I spoke to John for quite a while @ the V-Drive Regatta and he was very interested in getting more involved with boats. If he were the same guy, he'd already have the inside scoop here?

That's what makes me think not.

Plenty of time for Labor Day Mike. If you want to do it let me know first, Id say its a 1.5-2 week turnaround but if you need it sooner Im sure he will work with you.
