Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

Just getting a debate going. It started on another thread, so I sttarted a new not to clutter the other one. Some one was saying fords are good to have on a boat for an anchor.
I have a stock 460, GPS 71.2. Thats with a stock jg A cut and a divertor. I want to hit 80 buy next summer, after rebuild.

I'm a die hard chevy guy, but I'll be running a 501bbf in my boat.
    Bad Azz Chevy's I've owned
    70 Nova LS6 454 crate engine (1st car)
    71RS/SS 396 Camaro
    68 Corvette Roadster L72 427 4spd
    74 Z28 LT1/4spd
    94 Z28 LT1/6spd

My next purchase (when my truck is paid off)
    Corvette Z06

    If I won the lotto tonight;
    10 ZR1 Corvette
    69 Vette Roadster ZL1

Tom Papp Stealth and 565 Ford with alum block and Kaase Boss Heads, 10/71 blower w/EFI.

That's how much better I think Ford is over Chevy and Dodge!!!

Got a Chevy in one boat

Hopefully have a Ford in my other Sleekcraft soon...

And the back burner project will have a Dodge

As you can see I'm not really brand loyalist. I think they can all make about the same power, for the same money, with the proper parts

I agree that for big HP it is similar $$ but sadly the aftermarket prices for mild increase parts goes to Chevy.
