I am going to do my bildge w/ the garage floor epoxy stuff, I will try to let you know how it turns out. As for the passenger area, I went with the "astroturf" stuff cuz it wont hold moisture as much as marine carpet carpet, but it is still not ok with most guys on here.

bad thing with rhino liner is you can't if things are coming apart under the floor or the stringers laminate etc.

I went with carpet, but had the stringers and bilge area gelcoated to match the boat. I like the contrast between the carpet and stringers.
Holding water has not been an issue, I just make sure its dried out before I cover it.

My whole floor is gelcoated... bilge area & everything... Its different & sure cuts down on clean up time. As GAWnCA mentioned, its been super easy to maintain...

I used rustoleum concrete and patio paint on the bilge area of one boat I had, came out nice, but kinda hard to keep clean (white with blue splatters)

That is nice Krusin....I should be embarrassed to put mine up, it's a mess. I'm not much of a carpet fan. I couldn't believe someone carpeted over the balsa in the first place. I haven't done the outer sponsons yet(not sure what I'm going to do there), but the center one got plain ol rustoleum, and a $7.00 bag of black sand from the pet store. It was slick a heck before that, I can't stand it when I fall down sober.lol
