Well Southern Hotboats had a man down yesterday.. Good news is they recovered the boat and no one was hurt...

I was not there to whitness but as i understand his Ujoint came apart and took out his pump. As bad as it was, as i understand it, the best possible outcome came about. Im sure when the guys come home tomorrow we will hear the full details..

    Glad your OK keith.

This is the boat that went down

As i hear it Jr had that blower and top of the motor off with the speed of a professional pit crew.

not a scratch on him and no one else was in the boat. According to the driver he was not even really getting on it so i dont think it crashed or anything.. Just kind of stopped and sank...

Not to mention he has a totaly cool attitude about the whole thing. Not sure I would be that cool.

Sh*t like this is what scares me about Jet's...I'd really like to know what caused it to go down. Could a casting blow apart from simply unloading a pump?

HammerDown , it's the reload that spikes the intake pressure and ya those berkeley castings are pretty thin and brittle . Sounds like this one got shreded when the driveline crossed up
