    Default 79 nordic tunnel

    any info on this boat? any handling problems? do they shut down good? how fast on 650hp? any set up info(shoe depth and type,loader type and depth.droop or straight snoot...any pics...im thinkin about jumpin from my tx19 to a true tunnel...any replys are greatly appreciated

    If you want to throw some hp at it make sure it doesn't have a flat keel, or be prepared to do some bottom mods. As far as I know the keel dealio goes for all tunnels. Pic???

    Mcintyrelocal has one also! I believe they are flat keel dealio's!if you don't plan on going over a hundy I don't think it matters.ps 650 isn't enough!!!

    whats the story on this flat keel? what bottom mods are best for over 100?

    Maybe all nordics are flat... I dunno...I have no personal nordic experience. If you need help with a pic or 2 let me know.

    This is my 81 Nordic. Love the boat!!!!! you dont see them very often. i have a flat keel and at about 70 mph it starts to vibrate. but im not the one to be going fast so its just perfect. F.S. too btw haha!!!

    stay away from them if you wanna do more than mid 80's, i like mine and everything but its a cruiser, not a racer. i'm doin consistent 80+ with my nordic with a flat keel but it don't like it at all, feels unsafe. other than the keel, i really like the boat itself.

    Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

    you may be able to get the bounc outta the boat by runnin less rideplate, my nordic doesn't like anything above .5* of up angle. i tried 1.5* of up and it bout bounced me outta the boat
