    Default crusader tunnel hulls

    how are they and are they worthy enough boat to put 600 to 700 hp in them

    Yes they are. You will get more out of a crusader tunnel with that power than you would in a v bottom. 6-700 HP is just about the norm in most boats these days though. There are crusader tunnels running over 100 hp and shut down safe. Have fun and be safe.

    cool thanks for the info.i really want a cp or daytona but for the price on this project i cant go wrong.it already has machined shoe ride plate studded intake stainless b impeller droop double drilled and a race nozzle for a really good price.

    ive noticed they resemble a southwind tunnel dragster without the pump box extension

    Default Crusader tunnel

    There not at all like a southwind Stan tooled it off his 18 vee there very quick I think someone in havasu has the mold there a trick to layup a fast boat they learned in the 80s thick keel to thin they flex down the track cutting the mph down alot.

    so is this boat fast?quick?or slow from speed scrubing from hull flex or quick off the line with slow top speed?sorry could't fallow.

    very fast/ quick great shut down Back in the day everyone was building light we found out running a blown deal the bottom flexes alot so we laid the keel on the heavy side almost 1 inch thick by the pump getting rid of the flexing better et and mph

    Scott at Conquest has the mold and had one for sale, bare hull, very light on a trailer for $7000

    This is the 1 I had awhile back that I bought from Roy Miersch. 375 lbs. Ran 102 on the river with a 496 and no squeeze
    I may be growing older, but I refuse to grow up!
