Anyone running a 76 Eliminator bubble deck delta bottom jet boat or similar? If so what HP and Speed are you running set up Questions. Pic's are always nice i will post some of my boat. I'm Running a ford 466 11.92 comp. Ported aluminum heads Schneider 306-14R Soiled roller cam 665 lift 306/316 duration lobe separation is 112 i just advanced the cam on the crank to 6 degrees advance I'm also running a tunnel ram with a Quick fuel 1050 Carb. and eventually i will bolt on a 200hp shot of nitrous after a lot of setting up the hull first. The pump is an American turbine bowl on a Berkeley suction piece and a aggressor B-cut impeller ARS marine adapt a shoe and ride plate Kit and i forgot witch loader I'm running but i modified that so it would not bite the water so hard. Last run before engine mods and i was never able to get good gps numbers Engine problems! i ran 77.6. the est HP should be around 600 the engine is capable of turning 7000RPM but she is loading up at 5700 RPM this is a tight pump new parts. Please share any thoughts . Would like to run 85 on engine mybe its not possible.Have a good one

    Default 77 elimimater

This 77 has a delta bottom and has always run well no matter what power.
Has run 83 with a n/a 406 small block, currently running 102 with blown 547.
The factory intake was removed this year for shoe and ride plate install, stock berkeley suction, amt bowl stainless A, straight snoot, place diverter.
Nearly all the mods we did this year were in the interest of hooking out of the hole, as we race 800 ft from off idle.

Have you tried it with a droop or just a straight snoot, I'm running a droop and wonder if a straight is better on this hull? Running any wedge up down?

Tried the droop with less power than it has now and the boat acted stupid loose. Ran a straight 6" bowl extension for a couple years after that, and went to the straight snoot this year, 5* up wedge, limited travel on the diverter.

What loader are you running i think I'm overloading my pump. from a dead stop i have to roll it on or it will cavetate. The loader I'm running is down below i cut about a 1" off of the leading edge because it stuck down so fare below keel. Not trying to still all your tuning tips just trying to figure out what works on this hull. Thanks

The "XS" Xtreme Series Jet Loader Scoop is just that - Xtreme. It is designed for all out competition in boats that produce 500+ horsepower. By using an open center loader style design this loader will jam pack the impeller virtually pre-loading the pump.

    Default loader

It's just a basic "pro loader" I bought from Pro Boat about 8 years ago.
It seemed to like another loader we tried with much less horsepower that had a blocker in it. As the power went up we cut blocker out until it had none.
That loader was cut for a rounded keel though, so we finally tried the present one and it works. Stingers are about 1/4" below keel.

Her are some pic's of the loader I'm running and how i modified it so it would not bite the water so hard now it sets flush with the keel the shoe sticks into the water about a 1/2". I'm wondering if i have to much water load with the loader and shoe?

Anyone have any good pic's and info on loaders that work good on a delta v bottom boat. I'm going to tap my suction housing to see what kind of pressure i have in front of the impeller at WOT and go from there.
