    Default Winter Projects count...

I'm curious to see what every one is doing to their Hot Rod!

    ill start,

    Totally re-wire the boat
    add a water fuel separator
Move the overboard dump to the drivers side
    re work fuel delivery system
Pick up a pyrometer that works!
add a second bilge pump (float activated)
    New carbs
    New ignition system

That's all i can think of off the top of my head.

I need to do a few things too.

    -Pull motor
-Install new drain hose for oil pan- currently just plugged and it makes a mess.
-New rails for rail kit and powder coat plates & rails.
-New intake with backcut MPD shoe so I can try to get my pig out of the water.
-Learn how to make a plexiglass windshield for the boat since the original is nowhere to be found.

I need to get to work.

That's what i forgot to add. I am going to come up with a system to drain the oil with just a lift of the boat, Like a hose that runs to the bottom of the transom with a bulkhead fitting. uncap/screw walah oil LOL

I did a oil drain in mine with a ball valve, a few npt and barb fittings and a power steering hose recently, I just poke the hose out the bildge drain and open the ball valve, seems to work awesome. I dont know if it will work on all oil pans though, my pan had a 3/8 npt plug on the front along with the drain plugs front and bottom. PM me for a pic if your interested

    As for my list:
    replace bow eye
    install lighting
fab a new ski tow to get the rope away from headers
Possibly new impeller and wear ring
get rid of floater bar and install winch and bow stop on trailer

Boating is nothing like cocaine, boating is much more addictive and results in bigger parties!

    Oh man where to start.

    New gauges
    Whole boat re-wired
new gas tanks or fix current ones
re-upolster seats. would like to go fiberglass buckets and a bench for the back with grey tweed.
new carpet...maybe, kinda like the wood stringer look alot!
would like to take everything out but the pump and have MPD go through it. blueprint the bottom.
    rail kit
re- rig everything with an fittings and braided lines! Get rid of all this Oklahoma style rigged up crap!
    new fuel system
would like to get a jet-a-way....$$$???
re-do trailer bunks, paint it white and lower it.
    Re-paint (gel???) boat
    motor freshened up alot!
    So pretty much everything!
First things first...going to save up for the pump work and rail kit. From there I can do the rest at my own time.

    Next season

I used a valve from Fumoto with a nipple for a hose. Got mine off ebay.
