    Default my daytona project

just pick it up last night, 1978 19 eliminator daytona, seems to be a fairly light layup, when yoy push on it it feels very thin, balsa floors, dominator pump, set back, spoon, shoe, ride plate, anyone remember this boat, had a blown 502, was owned in folsom,ca about 9-10 years ago, last owner lived in oakley,ca, was runnin berryessa, any comments would be helpfull, one pic has a spot on the bottom that looks like it may have hit the trailer??

    Default Nice Boat

Was he very flexable on the price? I talked to him, I couldn't leave town for 2 days. After that tried to go look at the boat for 3 weeks, the guy never called me back.
Where is the engine set in it? Can you measure from the transome to the back motor plate for me?
    Thanks, schick

Nice deal should run pretty good if it's light.

Does that hull have balsa in the sponsons between the kick panel and bulkhead?

    Flat keel?

it looks like someone did some work on the bottom and rounded the keel, if you look at the one pic that has the damage, there are a couple screws, on the inside you can see there are nuts every two feet or so, I'm pullin the motor today and cleanin the inside so I will post more pics of the inside

no, he was very firm, he didnt call anyone back because when I went and looked at it about a month ago I told him I wanted it and needed so time to come up with the cash, so he held it for me
I'll get a measurement later today
