Cool 12jg bowl, can mine be saved?

Hello all, I have a 12jg bowl that got a few dings on the leading edge of the vains from an impeller that grenaded. How do I clean them up?

Perhaps you should add a pic of the damage.

Too wet out, don't want to uncovere my boat. The bowl isin it. The leading edge is dinged, it has the dings on the flat part of the vain, about 1/4 inch in size.
Also, how can I prep the bowl for better flow, or will it make a difference?

I asked pretty much the same question a few months ago. If there not too bad I was told they could possibly be tig'd back up then reshaped.

Tigged, didn't even think of that. Nice! How about prep'n the rest of the bowl for better flow? Will it make a difference?

I've got no personal experiance as far as the prepping. If it were me I'd leave the prepping to the pro's. I had a local guy quote me 300.00 for an extrude hone. I don't know if that's a good price or not.

I think Tom at jetboatperformance.com has them already done for like 500. Not sure. I can't afford it! Gotta do it myself. I learn quick.

We offer Extrusion honing as an upgrade to a new AT/Dominator bowl, the price alone for the upgrade is somewhere in the 350-400 range(can't remember exactly) just for the process. This price it just passed on to the customer. Any real benefits to this process start somewhere after 600hp.

sorry no extrusion honed bowls ready to go for 500
