Thumbs up Jon Cloud on TV

Props to Jon Cloud for being an upstanding citizen! He was just recognized on NBC 7/39 for VOLUNTEERING his time (along with a few friends) and remodeling a home for a mother with a disabled son in Santee. What an honorable thing to do for someone who was in such a dreary situation! My hat is off to you, "Mr. President" ~ LOL!

Thanks but it wasn't me ......I'm just the front man for an incredible group of guys and a few gals...... The East County Posse.

I'm going into my second year as President of the group.

In the past 9 years we (50 of us) have raised over $ 800k and have spent every penny ( 100% ) of it on people who need help. It's just our way of giving back. The Founder and Chairman is my old friend Greg Brown... The guy who's group purchased Fisher's Landing.

You'd be surprised as to the number of river and desert people who are in our group.

    Thanks again.

    Thank you....we try.

This was the 3rd year we took children from a shelter shopping for "back to school" clothes I think we had approx 60 of them. They each got a gift certificate for $ 150.00 ea to buy at least two pairs of paints 4 shirts two pairs of shoes and a new back pack plus paper pencils and other school supplies. Several of us helped them and their parents shop on two different days at the Wal-Mart over by Lakeside/El Cajon. As in the past year's it's pretty touching.
