    Default GPS Problem

Everytime I take my GPS in my boat I lose 15mph off my top speed. When I dont have my GPS I can go 80mph all day long, but as soon as I put the GPS in my boat I can only hit 65 top speed. I can't figure it out.

you need to make sure you take your gps readings both on and off the trailer. then recheck reading to see if desired MPH is reached. many people skip that part of gps reading, and for whatever reason everyone finds the readings are a lower than desired when that happens.

How do you know you're doing 80 mph without it........if you don't have it?

Man that's easy. You subtract 20 MPH from the Ebay ad speed and that tells you how fast you're really going. Must be a defective GPS.

Wife and kids bought me my first GPS a long time ago (looked like an 80's cell phone) The first time I ran the Schiada Flatty I was so depressed I went out and spent 5k on a fresh motor what I always "guessed" was 80 turned out to be 59

This is exactly why I got my iPhone! go for a speed run and just pull up eBay on the phone...boat picks up 20mph at the click of a button! Better than the bottle!!!

Wouldnt that make it 20 mph slower? hauls the snail mail evidently.
Just post your speed in kilometers per hour without the kph or mph after, that will bring your numbers up.
Boating is nothing like cocaine, boating is much more addictive and results in bigger parties!
