    Default water pump

    do i need to run a water pump on a jet boat? I have a chevy 350 small block.

    the big white thingie in the back that's hooked to your engine IS the water pump.

    you do need to regulate the water pressure. look towards the back of the boat on the lh side, you should see a pipe coming from the pump, that's the water supply for the motor you do need to regulate it down to no more than 20-25psi of pressure. otherwise you'll be seeing water in your oil, etc.
