My first jet boat, '79 Youngblood TX-20

Had it out twice and decided it needed a new engine so in with a 950hp 598ci Big Duke (not sure WTF I was thinking but.....)

Ran it for one season and decided it needed a full resto, an MPD intake/pump, aluminum block and nitrous.
Still working on it and still wondering "WTF was I thinking!"

No pics, but my first was a 79' Miller Ski-Jet. 454 BBC with a Comp hyd. cam, performer manifold and a single 750 Holley. Stock Berkley w/ AA impeller. Boat was clocked at 76MPH, about 4800 RPM if memory serves.

My current Jet is also a 79' Miller Ski Jet, 3X nicer, 100 more HP, tricked out pump, and 5-10 MPH SLOWER. (Got to get the set-up correct! See You on Fri. 13th next month Tom!!)
