    Default floor and bulkhead replacement

I’m replacing my floor and front of engine bulkhead. Both rotted out. How tight to the hull do I cut the wood. Do I need to leave a gap and tab it with fiberglass to prevent it from putting stress cracks in the hull. Boat is a centurion tunnel. Thanks guys.

Yep.. you don't want it to tight, I'm no glass expert....I'm guessing 1/4" or so.. this post should probably be in the glass and paint section.

I like to have a 1/4-1/2" gap between the Cap and hull I will suspend the bulkhead with stacked paint stir sticks, Tab the Bulkhead in 4-6 different spots, this will allow you to remove the sticks then proceed to completely laminate the bulkhead in place
    Tabs- 2"X6-8" long
    perimeter-8" wide strips
Remember to horseshoe around the stringers, and tie the lam. onto the stringers as well!
