I like it. But when you get hopelessly stuck out in bear country and the sun is setting, then what?

Pretty cool of those rafters to wash your boat for ya James. Don't suppose they wiped it down afterwards?

Haha to be honest for once it was nice to share the rivers with some folks out for a good time who have a sense of humour, I was just pissed I didnt have a water cannon with me to fight back (ill be prepared for next time hehe)

Rafters are definitely a far better bunch to encounter on the river than the fishing guys thats for sure!

and no.... I didnt cause the canoe to flip!

Hey Xero good to hear from you! Watching that vid has my heart pounding. Those log runs are awesom.

A little? lol notice that im always filming the red boat from the front? thats cause I always end up going first! lol

You can hardly see it in the video but when I do the log jump, just as I got there I noticed a pink stuffed cat on top of the stump to the left LOL

Im always amazed how wide alot of these channels look on film cause when you are in them they seem only as wide as the boat at times. Either way you dont have much room for error.

Right at the end I was committed to my "line" over that log when I realized the one big branch was just not going to break off and it threw me to the right and I hit a bunch of other stuff haha Theres a glitch in the video capture right at that moment. Ill do a re-edit once I get that fixed.

I have hours and hours more footage from this year, this will probably end up part one of three or something....

Hell, that just brought back some memories...back in the day when the coves on the AZ side just north and south of BR were still around...and that one little run on the AZ side right across from the island that used to dump out where the sunken schoolbus is now....right below the rocks. I doubt the water even comes up high enough for that one any more.

I remember coming back to the beach one day with a big gash in the side of a friends brand new waverunner....

    Him...WTF?
    Me...I hit a refridgerator
    Him...bullshit, what happened
me....I hit a fridge in the cove...it's still there, about 2 inches underwater
    him...show me
....so I did. spent the rest of the weekend learning how to do fiberglass work. LOL...
