    Default Bowl work

Who's still doing the JC to JG conversion? Since it's winter,
hopefully there's choices??? Anyone sell the whole setup
w/ diverter attachment, wedges & hardware? I got some
work to do for next summer's V-drive stompin....

I think Tom and Josh at Jet Boat Performance have had some pretty good success converting JC bowls into splits. Give him a holler.

The "C" bowls had the longest vanes in the OEM Berkeley bunch.

Convertions on the bowls are/were done to benifit from the extra vane length, which in turn straightens the flow, decreasing tumble. The new Aftermarket bowls now have the same longer vanes.

Thanks guys, I think I have a line on a JG. Should be cheaper than
the conversion. It'll be nice to try some wedges, droops etc......

So they cut the lower part off and weld a piece on the bowl?

Kinda, The nozzle pivot section is machined off and a flange is added in its place. Thats the general idea. But if done right, The blades will be longer than the G bowl as well as the bowl itself, and the exit will match a droop flange or other bolt on extension.
