Kinda depends on the boat interior. For example, is there a floor, or exposed stringers? You can do carpet, gel, etc. You trying to keep it oldschool/period correct or don't really care... I've got the sprayed gel in mine & like the hell out of it. Virtually no maintenance far as clean up goes... Hose it out & let 'er drain out the back..

Gauges, you mean as in which ones to run(oil, water, volt, etc.), are you talking what brand of gauges...

Hey SlowRyd: That is a great looking floor. What did you use? What is that little cut-out above the transom?

It does look awesome...my outside tunnels are balsa so I saved those the best I could. I hate carpet in a boat...so I painted my center sponson. The first year...the first time out, you cant believe how f'n slick a little oily water can be on something like that. I ended up doing a no skid deal with some black reptile sand from the pet store. My boats a mess right now..
