What was the cost to get your boat out here from the west coast if you don't mind me asking? I'm a So Cal tranasplant here in Concord NC hopefully to have a jet (TUNNEL)come this spring but, finding a decent used boat is slim to none. Its forcing me to shop for it in the west. Worried what its going to take to get something out here....

I want to say i paid under 1500 door to door, been two years so i dont really remember. It was a bit over quote but he had to replace both of my tires. Didnt charge me extra except the cost of the tires. He kept in touch with me and let me know where he was the entire time. he didnt charge me a deposit either. He put it this way, "I have your boat. Why do i need a deposit?".

I want to say he didnt have a set price. It all depended on what you wanted, where he was and how flexable you were with your shipment. the more flexible you are the better deal you got. but cant say enough about him. if i ever ship another boat ill use him.

he even helped me unpack my boat when it arrived and we sat and had breakfast and coffee. hell of a nice guy.

I also checked Uship as previoulsy listed but i didnt really know who i was dealing with. lots of legit people but one guy who tried to bid on my boat was real shady. Wanted money up front in pre-paid cash cards. just be aware of who your dealing with.

Edit: I just checked. I dont have the invoice any more. But it was pretty reasonable compaired to what other shippers wanted to pick it up and drag across country.

I used Uship for a jetboat from LA to Houston about a year and half ago. It was around $900 then. Just put an ad on there. You will get ALOT of replys and they will start off high.
