    Default bbc intake

    dose anyone know anything about the C 400 edlebrock intake manifold. it is on my bbc. would like to know more about it

    Seen them before... pretty much looks like a Performer with a 4500 (dominator) flange....

    i dont know anything about it, but, it appears to be some sort of stock factory cast iron 4500 flange manif or perhaps a Mercruiser manif that has an adapter to run a 4150 carb...not any good for performance purposes! ...if u want more performance & depending on what u want to get out of ur boat...get rid of it & put a Edelbrock RPM Air Gap on it ...it is an excellent manif & alot of peeps run it ...if u have a plain ole cruiser, then, its prob ok...just my .02 cents

    are you making changes in the motor...cam,carb, compression, head work etc.... Otherwise just swapping the intake on that motor would probably be a waste of time and money.

    not going to change it right now but would like to when i rebuild the motor unless i can find out more info on the intake i have on there now
