    Default Move the pump back??

    I have a 18' bubble deck V-bottom, Running a 12-JC with shoe,ride plate,loader,droop,FTN diverter,Bronze A...
    I have a 461ci BBC with 420 blower ?HP(5800-6000RPM)..

Im replacing the stringers and was thinking of pushing the pump back??

Will this help me at all on top end, or should I try the B impeller first..

Dont want to pull all this out again for a long time??

Was pulling 80MPH with 461ci mild cam with 2 4s (450HP) and cant seem to get much more speed with new blower set up??

I know its a V-bottom but seems it would pick up speed somewhere woth a new blower motor????

    Thanks for all help....

Get a hold of GS Marine/Greg Shoemaker. I think he raced Eliminator bubbledecks back in the day. He could tell you if the hull would benefit from the set back.
