Default Tom Papp Run Special Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so I know this is way late but this is the first time I have had to actually write this. Since I have been back it has been nothing but work, work, work, work, work, work, work.......

So I want to start off by saying that Tom or " Tommy " must have been one heck of a guy that touched so many in so many ways. I never got to meet him but Im sure we could have had some good laughs and some nice builds.

For those of you that dont know I traveled a lil bit for this gathering (1862 ) miles round trip and it was WELL worth it! I wasnt sure that it was going to happen for me but it did and I will do it again. Good people. NICE boats, racing out the cove and the weather was awesome! You have to know that I left -5 temps and a sh*t ton of snow to come play with you guys. Im really bummed I didnt get to spend time with some of the members I wanted to but there is all summer to do that. It seemed with my boat not running right and the 3 drunk strangers I couldnt really get to introducing myself to you guys I didnt get to meet. I had a blast once I got my boat to run right. Got my azz handed to me a few times, quite a few times actually but my second time in that boat vdrive to say the least with stock azz motor but I had a ton of fun.

My brother, cousin and her friends came along. My cousin said to me " WOW , these are some cool mo fo's no wonder why you like this sport so much ". And there you go. Its pretty cool how boating can bring so many different kinds of people together. I do love boating and always will. It is in my blood and it is my passion. I just need to find the boat I want to keep and hand over to my girls when its time. Anyways I had a feakin blast I cant wait until next year to do it again.

Ok forgive me if I leave anyone out here. I will start from first to last as I can remember.

N8dawg- first one to greet me when I showed up. Whats up dawg.

MikeF- thanks bro for the music. Im actually listening to it on the headphones as I right this. Made my day.

Beautifnoise- Steve, nice sled and im glad you didnt get rid of it or should I say your family decided you should keep it. And thank you for giving my cousin a ride back to the cove.

Futs- Good talking to you. I wanted to talk some more but thanks for letting me pick you brain a little bit about what the problem could be. Glad it just shook itself loose. Sorry about your ride and thumb.

LuckyStiff- Thanks for delivering my boat to Phx bud. Your a cool cat.

Milkmoney- nice to finally meet you. Never did see you back at the hote/casino. However I we were all over the place. I was babysitting a few drunkards.

Jdg911- Jake, always a pleasure and thanks for trouble shooting the wiring with me. By the way your boat is pretty quick.

W.O.T- Frank, you are one funny azz drunk. I dont know if you remember or now but I did talk the cops of arresting your azz. I think making friends with them the first night got me some credit. By the way, when you come down to AZ on the 27th of Feb make sure you bring the title to that boat. Hahahaha. No seriously.

dp85dona- Dale, hahaha you got some dance moves brotha. I cant believe we were drinking and dancing in the parking lot until who know how long. That is one sik azz boat yo have got there Yuma boy. Oh and one kick azz chick too. Casey or KC is pretty RAD!

Irebel- Hahahaha. Awesome hangin with you and your son at 3am kicking a few back in the parking lot the night before. Your son reminded me of myself wiping down dads chrome just to hang out with the boys.

Mouzer and Quick Jet- thanks so much. For all of you that dont know. Me and my brother left Elsinore to go pick up a motorhome in wherever I cant remember but I blew a bearing on the trailer and it being sunday EVERYONE was closed and of course nobody had the parts. So I called Mouzer and he got on the ball and couple hours later Quickjet was there with another hub. Even though it didnt fit its the thought and effort, no just a fellow boater in need and he dropped what he was doing to help. Thats what my cousin was talking about when she said " WOW, what a bunch of cool mo fo's. Thanks guys.

Well like I said Im sure I left someone out but I tried. Just so you guys know it took us over 20hrs just to get back to AZ. Yeah we got to Ontario and picked up the motorhome and the fuel pump went out and we had to end up dropping the gas tank and change the fuel pump in the mall parking lot in Modesto Valley. It was brutal and then we had to put 6 new wheels and tires on. Yeah I was supposed to be back in CO by monday but I was back by Tuesday night.

So for you that dont know there is a gathering in AZ at Bartlett lake on the 27th. There will be a few people attending including myself of course. It would be cool to see some of you So Cal guys out there.

Ok thanks everyone and we will see you this summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Good meeting you too G! Kindof happenstance we even hooked up on Friday night in the parking lot!

Yeah, RJ sux as a polisher, but the labor rate is right! (I think My bud Keith fired him once for that about a year ago, lol)

Gonna be good to see you again at Bartlett! I'm not bringing Moo, I'm bringing the Green and Silver Metalflake Pickle to that dealio. (Pickles also going to the Temple Bar trip as well).

Moo is down for a bit, intake being cut (warped), carbs rebuilt and tuned, but she'll be back for Fathers Day at Big River!
