you sure your tach is accurate? if you picked up 1100 rpm with a similar impeller cut you should be going significantly faster.

thats exactly what i thought! idk if it is correct but it aught to be i JUST completly rewired the entire boat so i dont see why it wouldent be? could i hav e scred somthing up in the pump? the wear ring to impeller clearence is 0.025 and the clearence between the back of the impeller to the bowl is about the same 0.025-.030 so that seems good the engine seems to have a nice load on it and not be cavitating but my loader hasent came in yet so that might make a little diffrence

just checked again 0.026 clearance the impeller has not slipped......it comes up to 66mph twice as fast as it did last year it just hits a brick wall do you think that is just all the faster this hull will go?

bought it off ebay you could tell it had never had any machine work or never been installed and it sure lookes like an "A" usually u can tell by looking at the trailing edges of the blades

No increase in speed from 4k to 5.1k? How are you measuring your speed? Gps or pitot speedometer mounted on the boat?

I'd measure the impeller and see if it's truly an A.

Correct me if I'm wrong, But not all cuts are the same from different manufactures.
A Berkeley A is different than a Legend and so forth. Could it be the Aggressor bowl with a AT imp. combo??

When I rebuilt my Kachinas pump I didn't gain any speed. But I did get quicker. Tighter tolerances may have been the reasons.
