Apache were good lake boats, pretty solid. If that's what you're looking for, a good lake boat that you can go out and have a good time, maybe 65 to 70 mph, it's a great boat.
If you are going to have thoughts of going faster than that, the Panther pump will be your limitation. They can take up to about 500 hp but even with that, you're looking at low 70's as a limit. You're best bet would be to pass and find a boat with a Berk style pump if you have a bigger need for speed.
If this is going to be your first jet boat, buy it, make it look really good and go out and have a good time. Panthers are a very good pump, lots of real good points but going real fast isn't one of them.

Thanks for the heads up guys.
I think in going to pass. and just keep looking.
I like speed but its not a must, I live on the Tennesse River and our section is like a big lake. But i want the power and the big roster tail.
