    Default Howard rails/motor mounts

Well guys I have come to find that the motor plates on my BBC are about 3'' to high for the Howard 21(Spectra) rails. Any ideas on how to solve this problem short of new plates? Don't have enough meat to trim the current plates. Would love to find a used set that would work but that's not likely. Guess I'll have to just make another set? Any one know these hulls real well and know if the height of the rails are pretty standard? Berkeley YJ/BBC. Any chance someone has an OE set they could $part with$ Appreciate the feedback.

I know big forum no no, I only have some pics on my phone and it sort of is what it is. Pretty much I need a set of motor plates for a BBC/rail set up that came out of a 21 cruiser jet. Preferably a Spectra, Howard or any manufacturer of that hull, that would get me a lot closer than I am. Also Tom I haven't forgot, once I get this dialed I'm still up for trading the tunnell ram for something that will get me down into my RPM range.
