Default My new toy showed up this week ......

I hope I have the time to play with it this weekend to learn a little bit about it.

My old Stalker Radar gun that my brother and I purchased with Dave from DCB (Dave's Custom Boat's) 18 yrs ago had some issue's and it needed to go back to the factory for some repairs. There are a few thing's I can use the gun for at work, it's also fun to take to the river even though so many people have GPS unit's.

The repairs were going to be less than I expected and the office was paying for it so I asked " How much would it be to up-grade the unit to your ATS system. ( Acceleration Testing System).

This might be a fun Summer:

I hope to play with it a bit this weekend with the golf cart and XR-100. We'll see. If all work's out, I can't wait to test different intake loader's, shoe's and nozzles at the lake. It could be a fun Summer.

It should take a bit of guess work out of the set up don't ya think ?

I love Stalker Radars. My department just ordered a whole bunch of the in car units. I didn't know they made one that could do all that though. Have fun!

    Ratssss,

My primary lap top and the hardware were not compatable, switched to plan "b" it didn't work either so know I'm on to plan "c" third lap top.

I went riding mini bike's at Barona Race track this afternoon for Scott Burnsworths' Mini Madness #4, what a blast.

I'll try some test run's tomorrow with the system. The Stalker is able(claimed) to track a golf ball out past 100 yrds I'll give it a shot tomorrow if it's not raining.

Here are a couple of the demo chart's that are loaded in the program I compaired a Sea Doo to a Kawaski 1100 water craft:

The testing capabilities would seem to be endless.

I'm still playing with the trail set up and the data files in the program.

You can alter the graph's and stat's. I can set 0-60, 20-100, 20-120 or 35-115, or anything in-between or beyound. On the distance side I can set 660, 1,000 or 1,320 ft :

    Default This is to cool:

    First test's with the system:

Here is some raw data on my 7 Iron and Driver, I'm glad my wife has a degree in computer tech and is a Professor at a local JR. College and teaches computer classes:

Now, I have to get back to working around the house

I was rushing my swing with my driver and hit two duck hook's. She was trying to get the kid's to dance class and was looking at me like " can I get out of here now" When she get's back I'll try again.

Alright I'm getting a little better at this; I can't wait to hit the water to do some testing. I have picked up boats well beyound 1,300 ft with the gun, I have never tried to shoot a golf ball before; this baby has some power.

The charts are golf ball speed's from a 7 Iron vs an R-7 Driver:

The ball speed off the driver was 133 mph and 91 for the 7 iron.
