    Question Navigation Lights

How many of you jet boaters have nav lights on your boats? If anyone is interested in sharing, I would like to see photos of the lights that blend/fit your model of boat the best.

I've got em. Nothing special. They do work though. Keeps me from having to haul balls back to the boat ramp at dusk. Best pic I've got. You can kinda see the bow light and the socket for the removable stern light.

I have a bow light and a removable "pole" light about 8" up from the back on the drivers side. No pics of the stern light, but its just the basic model from Overtons. Heres a few pics of the bow light, it flips over from flat to the light, excuse the fingerprints on the second one. I think it was worth the 100 bucks to not have a plastic lookin POS on the bow

One of these days I'd like to put the "shark eye" style lights in, just don't feel like cuttin any extra holes in the boat. For now, to avoid another ticket for no navigation lights, I just keep one of those suction cup light deals in case I end up stayin out a little too late. For a stern light I made a bracket for the socket & bolted it to the of the head. Not sure where you are, but a "no lights" ticket in Texas is $154 bucks....

By the time you need it, nobody will see it and when you don't need it, it's out of sight.

We used to night ski alot, its the only time when the entire lake is usually glass. turn on the lights, slap in the stern light and grab some flares, you just have to know your lake like the back of your hand. This was back when my dad and his buddies owned the boats, I havent tried it yet, dont feel comfortable enough, or maybe its just the lack of mind altering drugs thats keeping me from doing it.
